Thanksgiving is on the way

Tomorrow evening, Ann and i head up to her house for Thanksgiving. i'm looking forward to that.
The week we get back will be spend working on my big paper for American Diplomatic History. I'm writing on US foreign policy regarding copyright law. It's been hard to find sources, since most of the stuff isn't of interest to the academic community, and regular news doesn't report the details i'd like to have in my paper.

Shifting gears, i would like to spend the remainder of my space here condoning the use of IM as a communications venue for relationships. i fully admit that it should not be the only method of communication used, but to discount it simply because of physical proximity is rash. Ann and i spent the evening have a discussion about the merits or lack thereof of IM via Ashley Peck, a mutual friend. Ann has this silly notion that two people sitting next to each other shouldn't use IM as part of their communication. After she made this statment, I proceeded to only communicate to her via IM. Untill she signed off, at which point I started sending her emails :)

Anyway...
